This release introduces two new features that make reviewing, commenting, and interacting with agreements faster, smarter, and more intuitive.
With Chat with an Agreement (beta) and Profile-Based Auto Comments with AI Markup, you can move through contracts with less friction and more context—whether you’re working in the TCN Web App or the Word Add-in.
Chat with an Agreement (beta)
A conversational way to understand and act on agreements faster.
Introducing agreement chat: a faster, more natural way to interrogate, summarize, and explore agreements. Ask questions in plain language, and get clear, context-aware answers powered by the content of your document.
Each chat is tied to a single agreement, so the conversation always stays relevant. Users can revisit and rename chats, and copy key insights or insert responses right where they’re working. Chats are exclusive to individual users—they’re not shared with anyone in your party or organization, and they are never used for AI training or model improvement.
Highlights:
- Open the Chat tab from any agreement and start asking questions instantly.
- Get clear, structured answers with citation links based on the agreement in view.
- Copy responses to insert them directly into your workflow.
- Return to and continue chat sessions for up to 30 days.
While still in beta release, agreement chat transforms the way you interact with agreements, turning static documents into dynamic conversations. It’s a faster path to clarity, helping you understand and respond to contract language without breaking your flow.
Profile-Based Auto Comments with AI Markup
Turn routine rationale into instant clarity.
With Profile-Based Auto Comments, your organization’s Profiles can ‘do the talking’ via comments. When you run AI Markup, the system automatically adds a comment using the rationale or justification pulled directly from your Profile, saving you time and ensuring your team’s voice stays consistent across every edit.
Auto Comments appear directly in the agreement and are fully editable before publishing. It’s speed with control, all built right into your markup workflow.

- Add default comments to Profile topics once, reuse them automatically everywhere.
- Opt for the Profile to run AI Markup with or without auto comments.
- Review all system-added comments in one click with the new “Added by AI Markup” filter.
- Edit or delete comments before publishing.
- On publish, comments are attributed to your party name with no mention of AI Markup.
